Prep time: 15 minutes|Cook time: 22 minutes|Serves 4
Ingredients :
4 small cod fillets, skinless
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons flour
¼ cup dried breadcrumbs
Spray oil
9 ounces of frozen peas
1 tablespoon creme fraiche
12 capers
1 squeeze of lemon juice
4 bread rolls, cut in halve
Directions:
- First, coat the cod fillets with flour, salt, and black pepper.
- Then coat the fish with breadcrumbs.
- Divide the coated codfish in the two crisper plates and spray them with cooking spray.
- Return the crisper plate to the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer.
- Choose the Air Fry mode for Zone 1 and set the temperature to 390 degrees F and the time to 17 minutes.
- Select the “MATCH” button to copy the settings for Zone 2.
- Initiate cooking by pressing the START/STOP button.
- Meanwhile, boil peas in hot water for 5 minutes until soft.
- Then drain the peas and transfer them to the blender.
- Add capers, lemon juice, and crème fraiche to the blender.
- Blend until it makes a smooth mixture.
- Spread the peas crème mixture on top of 2 lower halves of the bread roll, and place the fish fillets on it.
- Place the remaining bread slices on top.
- Serve fresh.
